food is valid. Vibes are immaculate. Staff is nice. Food is halal. What more do you want. There's a pay to park parking lot right next to it. Like $1 an hour. Overall 12/10 this place is great and I highly recommend it if you are in the Yale/New Haven CT Area. Whether you are a Muslim family or friend group this place has to be one of the best halal Asian fusion spots in New England.

Very good halal southeast Asian food, really delicious and upscale-seeming restaurant but with pretty good prices! Highly recommend, one of my favorite Asian restaurants in New Haven. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options! Dietary restrictions: All the meat and chicken is halal, and there are no pork options on the menu! Parking: Convenient bike parking right next to the restaurant, plus a paid parking lot!

Toka is a hidden gem in New Haven! The food is delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented. The staff is attentive and the owner, Wanda, is very friendly! I highly recommend the thai iced tea and buntut soup. Don't forget to try their amazing desserts like the fried bananas. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. I for sure will come back!

I'm upset I didn't give this place a chance sooner! The rock shrimp and beef mee goreng was great (beef was well seasoned and tender). Quite affordable and nicely decorated inside as well.
